Meet Alan, the heart and soul of our café

If you are finding Alan a little familiar, that’s because you’ve probably seen him waiting tables and greeting customers in our cafe. Always spotted with a brilliant smile across his face, with his shirt neatly tucked in, Alan is always ready to give you a best Sunday brunch experience.

Introducing Alan, our Assistant Cafe Manager, one of our incredible humans who make PAZZION Cafe extra special.

Tell us about yourself!

Hey there! I am Alan, just another foodie like yourself. Three years back, I stumbled across a job listing for a management trainee position with PAZZION Cafe. As time went by, I uncovered a knack for beverage creation. This fuelled my passion to master the art of coffee. Now, I do more than just coffee! But, making coffee is still my favourite part of working at the cafe.

What is the first thing you do when you come to the cafe?

My first task is definitely getting the coffee calibration process started. By doing so, we ensure the taste of our coffee is consistent — not too watery, bitter or burnt. I take pride in ensuring our beans taste great!

What do you love about working at PAZZION Cafe?

The people! I love striking a conversation with our patrons, and knowing that it made their day, It is like having a superpower.

If there’s one item we must try from the menu, what is it?

It is so hard to choose, but if I REALLY have to pick something — I would recommend our Big Fabulous Breakfast. It comes in generous portions with a good mix of items (You’ll be spoilt for choice).

Can you share one happy memory you have working at PAZZION Cafe?

It is so heart-warming to have patrons coming back and remembering me or my crew by name. Even though it is a simple act, it makes us feel so appreciated.
